Our Team

Callie Hanik
I am Ms. Callie. I am the Director at WCMS. I was born and raised in Florida. I am married and have three children. I have worked in Early Childhood Education since 2014. I have been a Lead Toddler Teacher, Assistant Director, and finally, a Center Director.
 
I began working as Director at The Wesley Chapel Montessori School in 2017. I hold a National Early Childhood Credential, National Administrator Credential, and Florida Director Credential.

WCMS is a special place because the teachers and administrators are caring and devoted educators who strive to provide a positive, compassionate, beautiful, and educational environment for our students. We are constantly pushing ourselves to grow in all aspects of programming. Our small community is a wonderful nurturing place. We encourage you to become a part of our Montessori family.
Aziria Birriel
I am Ms. Aziria. I am the Assistant Director at WCMS. I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I moved to Florida nine year ago. I am married and have three kids, one of them is currently in the United States Marine Corps. I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Human Resources.
 
I began working at The Wesley Chapel Montessori School in 2015 and since that time, I have led both a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program and a Primary classroom before accepting a position as the Assistant Director. I hold a National Early Childhood Credential and Director Credentials. 
 
I am passionate about Montessori’s philosophy of following children, helping them work independently and respectfully, allowing for the joy of learning and fostering and enhancing each child’s natural wonder.
 
In my free time I am enjoy gardening, traveling, and go to the beach with my family.
 
The Wesley Chapel Montessori School is special! It is truly a privilege for me to work among such dedicated, caring and professional teachers and staff!
Monica Castillo
My name is Ms. Monica. I am from Colombia. I have 2 children, a boy and a girl. I studied accounting in Colombia. I I have 4 years experience working as an assistant teacher in a Montessori school. I began working at The Wesley Chapel Montessori School September of last year. I am very happy to be apart of this team.
Omaira Tucker
My Name is Ms. Omaira. I am from Colombia. I am a mother of one daughter, and I have two grandchildren. I graduated in accounting in Colombia. I have over 20 years’ experience working with children. I previously worked as a Lead Teacher for children ages 2 & 3 years old in a Montessori facility and I’m currently working as an Assistant Teacher at WCMS. I am incredibly happy to be a part of The Wesley Chapel Montessori School.
Liliana Ardila
I am Ms. Liliana. I am a 33-year-old Colombian American teacher. I grew up in a big family full of affection and values. Second of three sisters. Cheerleading fan. Married and mom of a beautiful baby girl. 
My experience as a teacher starts in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. Where I participated in multiple internships, teaching kids of all ages and social contexts, From children with vulnerabilities to private schools and alternative teaching projects. 
I graduated from the university getting a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. In the United States, I started to work in private childhood centers in 2012 taking care of the small kids but realized that the Montessori learning methodology fits my teaching model. 
Currently, I am a Montessori lead teacher for the last seven years, I consider myself a young but experienced teacher who sees in children the reason for joy and the possibility to build the best future for our society. 
Michelle Pagan
I am Ms. Michelle. I recently relocated to Wesley Chapel three years ago with my beautiful family. I have three children; two dogs and I love to do family trips all around the area. I graduated in 2008 with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Children with Special Needs. The following years I pursued my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and my goal is to complete my PH. D In Psychology as learning is a life-long process. As a teacher with many years of experience I would like to not only teach but inspire a deep love for learning to all my students.
Yureisys Medina
My name is Yureisys Medina, I am a Venezuelan native and Florida resident since 2018. I have been happily married for more than 10 years. We have a beautiful 4 years old daughter and a playful black lab called Onix. In my spare time enjoy reading and traveling, and I am a certified yoga instructor. One of my biggest passions is to teach and work with kids. My career as a teacher began over 15 years ago. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and an Associate’s Degree in physiotherapy. In addition, I hold the Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and completed numerous Montessori-sponsored courses as part of my continued education. I am delighted by working and practicing the Montessori philosophy. Here at Wesley Chapel Montessori School, I feel like part of the family. 
Jennifer Fish
Meet Ms. Jenny! Ms. Jenny will be a lead teacher in the Young Children’s Primary classroom. She will work together with Ms. Yureisys. Ms. Jenny holds an AMS Infant/Toddler Montessori credential from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education, NC. Before coming to WCMS, Jenny taught at Pinewoods Montessori School in Hillsborough, NC. and Montessori Community School in Durham, NC. She started off as a parent volunteer and worked as a Primary assistant teacher. Jenny enjoys watching children explore and guiding them through their discoveries. We are so excited to welcome Jenny to our team!
Keila Aviles
I am Ms. Keila, mother of 2 and proud military wife. I was born and raised in the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. As a military family, we have relocated numerous times throughout the U.S. and I have worked in several child development centers as a Teacher Assistant.  I have gained over 7 years of experience teaching and assisting our future generation of students!
 
I started working at The Wesley Chapel Montessori school in March of 2021 assisting and teaching infants and toddlers. I’m currently in the process of obtaining my Child Development Associate Degree and Montessori Assistant Teaching Certification.
 
 I love spending time with our children and being part of their growth, is what brings me great joy.

Elizabeth Gonzalez
I am Ms. Eli, I am from Venezuela, I am 35 years old and I have a degree in business management. I am new to The Wesley Chapel Montessori School! I am starting in this beautiful career of caring for and teaching children.
Mairym Pena
I am Ms. Mairym. I am from Venezuela, resident in Florida since 2019. I have a beautiful family, married for 11 years and with a beautiful 7-year-old daughter. I like cooking and baking pastries.

I am a teacher with a degree in Special Education and a master’s degree in Comprehensive Special Education.
My greatest experience in the educational area was in Venezuela, where I worked for 16 years in a Labor Education Workshop for adults with Special Conditions. Taught Individualized classes to Elementary School children. I worked 2 years in Argentina in a Community Foundation for People with Disabilities, 2 years as a babysitter at home and 4 months in Daycare in the City of Orlando Florida. I was a Labor trainer for young people and adults to integrate them into Inclusive Companies, to achieve their Personal, Social, Emotional and Labor Independence. I have carried out Workshops on recycling and elaboration of Artisan paper, where various areas of development are worked on, such as: attention, concentration, fine and gross motor skills, creativity, spatial notion, among others.

Education is an integral process, in which both the cognitive development and the emotional development of the child are important, and the school and the family must work as a team to achieve this goal.

The Wesley Chapel Montessori School is a beautiful school where harmony, tranquility and union are conveyed.
